How long have you been in business?
Almost 35 years.
What is your primary product or service?
We are a Montessori school who serve children from 3 years old through 8th grade. Butler also has a year round riding program and a summer camp, which serves children between the ages of 3-14 years for 8 weeks during the summer. Limited bus transportation is available for both school and camp, as well as extended care (before and after school).
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
As both a school, which has been serving the community for 40 years, the camp is exceptional in helping children grow and have fun while at camp. Our camp that is located on a beautiful outdoor campus which borders parkland, with miles of trails, creeks, etc. We also have many recreational amenities on our campus as well: a swimming pool, indoor ring, school buildings for indoor use during the summer, playground, soccer fields, basketball court and ropes course. We also transport campers to many local recreational areas, for canoeing, mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing and fishing.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Only our Darnestown MD location.

Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Butler School, which is a non-profit school, staffs and operates our summer camp.
What are your hours of operation?
9:00-3:15 for the camp day, with extended care available starting at 7:45 AM and until 5:45 PM.
