Homecrest House an Affordable Subsidized Community
Homecrest House is a non-profit, non-denominational community nestled on ten acres of beautifully landscaped acres in the Bel-Pre area of Silver Spring, MD. Homecrest provides a quality of life for those over 62 and those with qualifying disabilities. Rent is based on income on a sliding scale. There is a mandatory meal program, six nights a week.
Homecrest House also provides in the Edwards building, limited serivces such as housekeeping, daily meals, laundry, bathing assistance and medication administration. These units are one-bedroom apartments and utilities are included. Both the rent, the meals and services can be subsidized if qualified.

There are 3 buildings on our ten acre site.

What type of payments do you accept?
Our monthly rents are set at approximately 30% of a senior's adjusted income.
Which areas do you service?
We provide senior housing and we do have a limited number of handicapped apartments for those adults who qualify for the mobility features of the apartment.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Non profit local board of directors and on-site management director.
