How long have you been in business?
We opened in October 1989 and recently celebrated our 20th anniversary!
What is your primary product or service?
Preschool education.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I realized when my children were young that I felt passionate about providing an optimal learning environment for children, including in emotional literacy.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We use hands-on learning activities and we focus intensively on communication, conflict resolution and problem-solving, based on the Conscious Discipline(R) program.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One location; no plans to expand just now.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept cash and check payments.
Which areas do you service?
Our families predominantly come from Olney, Brookeville and Derwood, but we also have families from Ashton, Sandy Spring, Laytonsville, Gaithersburg, Silver Spring and Rockville.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
I own the company and run daily operations.
What are your hours of operation?
Class times are 9-11:30am, 9:15am-12:45pm and 9am-1pm, depending on age.
